The Summer Village of Jarvis Bay was incorporated on January 1, 1986. Jarvis Bay is a seasonal residential community. Recent years have shown a market increase in new residential lots, redevelopment of properties as well as the introduction of municipal services. Jarvis Bay is a residential community that seeks to maintain the quality of life they currently enjoy, seasonal and permanent residents alike. It's attraction is it recreational and open space atmosphere and basic amenities.

Upcoming MeetingsAs the Summer Village office is currently closed to the public, we ask that residents wishing to attend a Council meeting do so via Zoom. The Zoom links will be posted under the Quick Links heading on the right of this webpage for each Council meeting a few days prior to the meeting. Tax Notice Reminder:
Reminder to residents that if you have had a change of mailing address to please let us know by April as 2020 tax and utility notices will be mailed out on May 21st. Changes in mailing addresses can be emailed to: information@sylvansummervillages.ca Any questions or concerns can be directed to the Finance Department (403) 887-2822 The Summer Village of Jarvis Bay is pleased to offer the residents the ability to pay taxes on a monthly basis. Year Round 90% G.V.M. If you require an overweight permit please contact Road Data at 403-341-7466. Garbage and recycling pickup times vary. To ensure pickup, please place bins outside by 7 AM on pickup day, or the night before.
