Sunbreaker Cove is located 45 km North-West of the city of Red Deer, Alberta on the North-East side of Sylvan Lake. The name Sunbreaker Cove came from combining Sunhaven, The Breakers and Glenn's Cove. Glenn's Cove came for an old farm stead that originally was in the near vicinity of the present day village.
The Red Deer Watershed Alliance (RDRWA) has developed an online survey form regarding lake use and potential concerns from lake users. They would very much appreciate it if you were able to fill out this survey and potentially share it with other community members with a goal of having responses by October 13th, 2026. The intent is to provide information for their upcoming State of the Watershed report.
