FOR THE OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR – The Summer Village of Norglenwold’s By-Election will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Administration Office. The Advanced Poll will be offered on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. All eligible voters must provide Government Issued photo ID in order to receive a ballot. If you are unable to attend the advanced poll on Saturday, September 23rd or the election on Saturday, September 30th due to the following:

• physical disability
• absence from the local jurisdiction

you can request a special ballot package.  Form 22 (please link see above) must be completed and given to the returning officer.  Once the form is received a special ballot package will be sent out to you.  It is your responsibility to ensure the completed package is returned to the Returning Officer prior to election day in order to be included in the ballot count. ​​Form 26 must be filed within 120 days after the date of the by-election.  Failure to file the form within the prescribe time will result in a fine of $500.  Please refer to the Local Authorities Election Act, Section 147.7.”
